This is the first time I have left a comment but I often listen to your podcast (when the Zune client on my WP7 Arrive actually downloads your podcast though it is occasionally nice to have hours of you guys to listen to).
Anyway, in Ryan’s write up about the equipment you use for podcasting (which there should have been a link in the notes to, but once I listened to the podcast again when I could check it out I found Ryan’s page easily enough) he lists that you use a Behringer XENYX X1622USB as well as the Behringer MDX1600 CGL but it looks like you use this for field use. What I am curious about is if you use this in place of the compressor in the XENYX mixer or only when not using the XENYX.
I had not expected to be asking you guys a question about audio components but I would appreciate any feedback you have regarding this.
Oh, on a side note and in response to the results about sound alerts, it drives me nuts that they make an issue about the very short sound alerts (though I do have notifications for reminders, text and four email accounts) that I like on my phone and it is worse when I cannot get them to work again at the end of the day (WP7 is great but after replacing the phone multiple times and still having the same problems I have learned to live with some minor issues and look forward to WP8 as a replacement).
